Trump hails the NATO summit in Turkey "very successful"

US President Donald Trump hails the

NATO summit in Turkey "very successful"  during a

a press conference to cap his participation in the two-day gathering.

This as Trump praises Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

on the sidelines of the summit for his country's efforts in the war with Russia.

Despite repeated criticism NATO has done too little to help the United States,

President Trump was effusive about the warmth he felt

as leaders met on Wednesday.

This as Trump told reporters he has not decided

whether the US will allow sales of F-35 fighter jets to Turkey,

"I haven't totally made up my mind," he says.

In a striking change of tone from their earlier meetings,

Trump praises Ukraine and its President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

during a meeting on the sidelines of the NATO summit.

Trump tells reporters he has developed a very good relationship with

Zelenskyy and adds, he thinks the Ukrainian leader wants to make

a settlement with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
